Stephen Duncan

Dr. Stephen Duncan
“I have enjoyed every moment of my 20 years at Orthodontics Exclusively.  Both myself and my partners are actively involved in university teaching and the sharing of ideas amongst us has allowed me to stay at the forefront of the development and provision of Specialist Orthodontic Care including invisible braces for our adult patients and non-extraction therapies for our younger patients.  Creating  beautiful, healthy and natural  smiles is why I enjoy my work so much.”

Daniel Ngan

Dr. Daniel Ngan

Dr Ngan completed his specialist training at The University of Sydney, receiving  the MRS medal for ‘The Most Outstanding Graduate Orthodontist in Australia’, the Foundation Award for his academic thesis, and the Australian Orthodontic Board award for his clinical work.  He was also awarded the ‘Gold Medal for Excellence in Dentistry’ from the University of Otago, Fellowship to the World Federation of Orthodontists, and Membership of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.  He also teaches Doctorate Orthodontics at The University of Sydney.

“I am now in my twelfth year of Orthodontics, and continue to enjoy creating smiles that give people confidence. I strive for the highest order of treatment outcome and patient satisfaction, practice a non-extraction philosophy, and believe in optimising dental and facial aesthetics. I use all techniques including invisible lingual braces, Invisalign, expansion and functional appliances, and cutting-edge mini-implants.”

Ted Peel

Dr. Ted Peel
“It gives me incredible pleasure to be treating the children (and in some cases the grandchildren) of patients I have treated since joining the practice in 1976. As the result of my appointment at the University of Sydney, I am using the evolving ideas and concepts in orthodontics to constantly improve the treatment for those patients I have had the privilege to care for. The orthodontic students who I teach, as well as the practice partners, continue to challenge me and help me to stay as enthusiastic about my work as when I first joined the partnership.”

Paul Taylor

Dr. Paul Taylor
“I joined the practice in 1981 and have experienced enormous professional satisfaction in being part of a great practice that always strives to better itself. I live in the suburb where I do most of my work and it gives me special enjoyment when I see people treated by our practice with such self confident and beautiful smiles. My special interest has been using a combination of surgery and orthodontics for patients who have more severe problems. We have been developing a new way of using magnets to treat patients with undershot bites. The results of this new, patented technology have been highly encouraging and the patient feedback about the comfort of this treatment has been very positive.”

James Hawkins

Adj. Assoc. Professor James Hawkins AM
“It has been stimulating to work in this partnership, where i enjoy the challenge of maintaining my clinical skills to current, best practice standards. Certification by The Australian Orthodontic Board has also helped in achieving this goal. In 1967, I established the Orange branch, seeing it as a way to offer the best in orthodontics to a rural centre. I am now seeing many children of former patients, and it is a great experience to meet them again as proud parents. Teaching has also been an important part of my professional life, and in 1996 I was appointed an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Sydney.”
